St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Milwaukee

Enjoy our St. Patrick's Day Special Menu from March 12 - 24, 2024

St. Patrick’s Day is a beloved holiday around the Milwaukee area, rooted in our local history which gives us lots of reasons to celebrate! While we may not turn our river green or have our own local Guinness factory, there is a lot of Irish Pride throughout our streets and we love any reason to clink our glasses together and create memories over a shared meal. Saz’s State House has prepared a special St. Patrick’s Day food menu filled with delicious treats, both shareable and entrées sure to make you feel like you just struck gold.

Fun fact! The first Irish immigrants arrived in Milwaukee during the founding years during the mid-1830’s. They were some of the labor workers that shaped the city by cutting down bluffs, filling in marshes, digging a canal, and creating streets.

What's On the Menu?

The Reuben Sandwich

Let’s start with a classic – the Reuben sandwich. This is a St. Patrick’s Day party food staple in many Irish-American households and pubs alike. Packed with layers of thinly sliced corned beef, tangy coleslaw, melted Swiss cheese, and creamy Thousand Island dressing, all nestled between slices of marble rye bread, the Reuben is a must-have when celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.

Irish Nachos

For a festive twist on a beloved snack, look no further than Irish nachos. These indulgent nachos swap traditional tortilla chips for parmesan kettle chips, offering a salty, crispy base that perfectly complements the toppings. Your nachos will be loaded up with generous portions of shredded corned beef, cheese sauce, sauerkraut, scallion, and Russian dressing drizzle. The result? A delicious medley of flavors that just keep getting better with every bite!
