Saz’s Monkey Business is our stuffed caramelized banana burrito with house-made bacon jam and creamy peanut butter, deep fried, drizzled with Wisconsin honey, and finished with a sprinkle of chipotle cinnamon sugar.
Monkey Business was chosen as one of eight finalists from several dozen entries for the 5th annual Sporkies. The annual food competition takes place every year during the Wisconsin State Fair and celebrates everything from the unique to the unusual in fair food.
The Competition
Four celebrity judges – including Super Bowl Champion LeRoy Butler, OnMilwaukee Senior Food & Dining Writer Lori Fredrich, Milwaukee radio veteran Steve Palec and Fox6 reporter Nicole Koglin – and one lucky fairgoer will decide the top three winners for the Golden Spork Award on August 9th at the Bank Mutual Amphitheater.
