Saz's BigWigs Campaign

What do you think of the new ‘do? We think pink just might be Saz’s color! There’s an important reason Steve “Saz” Sazama is rocking the new locks. With Susan G. Komen leading the charge against breast cancer through new initiatives to help those affected, Saz is joining the fight as part of the BigWigs campaign to raise money for essential breast health screenings and support services for those in our community.

The BigWigs campaign, started in 2014, gathers corporate and community leaders to raise awareness and funds that impacts those directly affected by breast cancer. In fact, 75 percent of money contributed benefits local women and men by providing financial assistance for breast screenings, diagnostic tests, and treatments; with the remainder being allocated to fund cutting edge research in hope of finding a cure.

Join the fight – and have some fun!

By donating to Saz’s BigWigs campaign, we can directly help those within our community affected by this disease that knows no boundaries. Our goal is to raise $5,000 and, with your help, we know we can surpass that amount.

Here’s how you can contribute:

  • Donate directly to Saz’s BigWigs page There, you can read about why Saz chose to participate in this invaluable campaign and see how your contribution makes a difference!
  • Purchase a BigWig Punch at Saz’s State House for $7.50. We’ve put together a specialty cocktail (pink, of course) just for the occasion. $5 goes directly to Saz’s BigWigs campaign. Or, you can purchase a pink ribbon with your name on it for $5. We’ll display it proudly at the Round Bar.
  • Attend the More than Pink Gala on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. The More Than Pink Gala will bring all the BigWigs together to celebrate the impact that all our contributions will make. A silent auction and and live auction will also take place throughout the night. Last year, over one million dollars was raised directly benefitting Southeastern Wisconsin! All the details can be found below.
  • Share the news on social media. Whether you can donate or not, just talking about this campaign with friends and family can go a long way, as well as raise awareness for an important cause. Share this page on Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #BigWigSaz.
