Yellowstone Themed Formal Dinner Menu
In 2023, Saz’s catered an incredible corporate event for 200 people with a Yellowstone-inspired menu. (We think the Dutton’s would’ve enjoyed it, but we’re biased). From the tablescapes to the creative menu that showcased a Grilled Peach Salad, Pan Seared Trout, Smoked Bison Short Ribs, Smoked Kessler Pork Rib, Smoked & Rubbed BBQ Chicken, Vegetable Involtini, and Strawberry Rhubarb Bread Pudding, it made for a unique, delicious, and immersive experience for our guests.
Mardi Gras Themed Food Stations for Fundraiser Event
Make-A-Wish Wisconsin hosted a fundraising event at The Marcus Performing Arts Center called Cheers for Wishes, which donned a Mardi Gras theme. As the exclusive caterer, the Sazama’s Fine Catering team put their heads together to create a custom menu for their guests that would allow for a delicious and interactive experience. The event began with hand-passed hors d’oeuvres and four food stations set up throughout Bradley Pavilion as the main courses. Alongside classic dishes, we stuck to the southern comfort theme and had these notable mentions on the menu: BBQ Riblets with Cajun BBQ, Mini Shrimp Po-Boys, Crab and Artichoke Dip, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Cajun Cornbread, Poached Pear and Black-Eyed Pea Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette, Crawfish Deviled Eggs with Fried Capers, and a Bananas Foster Flambé Action Station.
Family Recipes for a Peruvian-Themed Custom Wedding Menu
Our team catered a wedding where the bride and groom requested a Peruvian-themed menu. At their tasting and after sampling different dishes, including Peruvian Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Pollo, Tacu Tacu, and Yuca Fries with Chimichurri, the groom shared with his Event Planner that, “it feels like I’m back home.”
Custom Food Stations at American Family Amphitheater
At the American Family Amphitheater, Event Designer Extraordinaire David Caruso transformed the stage into an incredible event, Curtains Up, for donors to kick off the summer season. Saz’s Catering brought innovative culinary experiences across the stage, including hand-passed appetizers of Beefsteak Crostini, Sweet Brie Bites, Crab Cakes, Beet & Goat Cheese Crostini, and Rosemary Shrimp Skewers. There were four food stations set up that offered tantalizing tastes, including a Duck BLT Slider, Gnocchi Ragout, an enormous Charcuterie Display, a Carvery station offering two separate meats, and lots of delicious, bite-sized treats.
Elevated Catering Menu for Offsite Holiday Party
Off-site events can still have an elevated menu selection; Saz’s Catering prepared a fully custom and elevated menu for a corporate event that included our team preparing Boiled king crab legs, Cooked lobster tails, and Baked beef wellington all on site on our traveling tabletop oven. Charlie, one of our Sales Managers, shared, “None of these items are on any of our menus but it enhanced the experience for their group. I like to ask my client’s about their vision and help build their event based off of that, creating a one-of-a-kind experience for them.”
