As our events coordinator, front of house specialist and bookkeeping virtuoso, Sarah Peter plays many prominent roles at the State House. Versatility is just the start; as she not only has deep roots with the State House, but she’s experienced continual growth during her time working with us. She joined the Saz’s family when she was just sixteen, starting as a busser to earn money to buy her first car, then continuing as a server while she was attending college. She prides herself on being available to answer nearly any restaurant question and handle any role front of house. Many at the restaurant have known Sarah since she was just a kid, always eager to lend a helping hand and share smiles with our guests. The experience has proven rewarding and gratifying, as Sarah has been with Saz’s for over 20 years. It’s the change of pace that she loves about the hospitality industry; every day presents something new and rewarding. She consistently praises the people she works with and understands the importance of supporting her team to deliver exceptional service. After completing her degree in communications at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, Sarah decided that her experience working with Saz’s was gratifying enough to stick around. For that, we’re exceedingly grateful. Sarah is always up for something new, and she’ll try almost anything once, including traveling whenever the opportunity presents itself, discovering new hobbies and listening to a wide variety of music. Her unending curiosity and commitment to her family and friends are always on display in myriad ways, and it’s such an absolute pleasure to have her on the Saz’s team.
