You’ll find Tim Hilbert at Saz’s State House leading the front of house team and always with a smile. He’s been with the State House for over 30 years and is an integral part of the Saz’s family. Starting out as a bartender at the State House in 1985, Tim quickly learned the ins and out of the business, making lifelong friends along the way. When you experience his friendly, warm and genial nature, it’s not hard to see why. Tim is also the guy with the stories. Want to learn some Saz’s history or hear a fun anecdote about our time in the business? Just ask! Tim’s always happy to share a story or two. Considered a mentor by many and understanding of the importance of maintaining a knowledgeable, fun and courteous team, Tim always invites questions and looks forward to assisting his team in whatever way he can. This encourages continuous learning and instills confidence in our staff, ensuring that we continue to provide “The Finest” in hospitality and service. Tim stands behind the welcoming atmosphere that Saz’s State House consistently provides, which he considers an extension of his own personality. He’s seen many employees grow and develop over the years and that’s something he finds exceptionally gratifying. He’s also seen plenty of changes and growth of the company throughout the years, like being witness to the birth of Saz’s Catering, which began its operation in the basement of Saz’s State House. But what makes Tim such an integral part of the team is that he’s a genuine “people person”, always looking forward to the opportunity to greet new guests and regulars, ensuring they always feel like part of the Saz’s family. We couldn’t be more grateful to have him as a part of our family. Outside of Saz’s, you’ll most often find him on the golf course or attending a concert, as he’s a big live music fan, often traveling across the country to catch a big show by one of his favorite artists.
