One of the most beloved musicals of all time, Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY is back on Broadway with a new production from Lincoln Center Theater. This “sumptuous, thrilling new revival of THE MOST PERFECT MUSICAL OF ALL TIME.” (Entertainment Weekly) is coming to the Marcus Performing Arts Center April 14 – 19, 2020 and we’ve got your ticket with Dinner and a Show on April 16, 2020.
Dinner and a Show is a special evening that includes a chef-inspired four-course dinner at Saz’s State House, orchestra seating for the show and convenient shuttle service to and from the Marcus Center.
MY FAIR LADY follows the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform Miss Doolittle into his idea of a “proper lady”. But who is really being transformed?
The original 1956 production won six Tony awards including Best Musical, and this production has been hailed as “thrilling, glorious and better than it ever was” (New York Times). Featuring classic songs such as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” and “On the Street Where You Live”; “every so often a revival comes along that reminds you how indispensable great theater can be,” (NY1).
