As we all find our way in this new normal, one thing can be guaranteed from our team at Saz’s Hospitality Group: we are committed to creating a Sazzy experience for you all while prioritizing the health and safety of our guests and staff. We promise we’re honest, hard-working people and that you can take our word for it, but we also understand if you want to take a closer look into what we have put together for our health and safety guidelines prior to dining with us. We’ve had to adapt a lot since the beginning of the pandemic, but one thing remains the same- we’ll give you #TheFinest experience with a smile (even if it is under a mask.)

Here’s What You Can Count On From Us:

A Healthy Team

  • All employees with any symptoms understand they are not to enter the building or event space under any circumstance
  • Daily temperature checks at the beginning of every shift at Saz’s Hospitality Group buildings and all event sites
  • Any employee that arrives with a temperature above 100.4°F will not be allowed to work and sent home
  • All employees must wash hands immediately when arriving at work and in between all tasks
  • All employees will practice safe social distancing of 6′ apart in SHG properties and at event sites.
  • All employees will wear face coverings when safe social distancing cannot be achieved
  • All office and kitchen workspaces have been moved to 6′ apart
  • At this time we are a handshake/high-five/fist-bump free organization, but welcome air high-fives and elbow bumps

Clean and Sanitized Space

  • Office spaces, kitchens, warehouse, Saz’s State House and company vehicles will be sanitized and disinfected daily
  • All event and SHG venues will be sanitized prior, throughout, and after the event
  • Saz’s State House is closed on Mondays for deep cleaning
  • Dining tables will be disinfected before and after every guest
  • Restrooms are cleaned and disinfected frequently and thoroughly throughout the day or event
  • High traffic touchpoints are disinfected frequently throughout the day
  • Dishwashing and sanitizing occurs at temperature standards to disinfect thoroughly
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout Saz’s State House, Saz’s Catering, South Second, Jan Serr Studio and will be available on all buffets, food stations, and bars at events

Saz’s State House:

  • We are currently at a reduced capacity per city of Milwaukee guidelines
  • Tables are socially distanced
  • Outdoor patio seating is available (weather permitting)
  • One-time use paper menus or QR codes to read menus from a personal device are available

What we ask of you to help us keep you safe:

  • Make a Reservation: Help us manage seating and ensure physical distancing and capacity adherence. Reservations can be made by calling us at 414.453.2410 or ONLINE
  • Table count has been reduced to a maximum of 6 guests per party; please make reservations accordingly
  • Sanitize your hands upon entering Saz’s State House
  • Wait to be seated by the host
  • Please supervise children at all times
  • If seating is not available right away, please wait outside of the restaurant. There are high top tables for you to wait comfortably with a beverage
  • We’re all about making new acquaintances, but we ask that you refrain from congregating with others around the bar or in common area for your safety and others around you
  • Keep distance between you and other guests when waiting, using the restroom, and ordering drinks from the bar

Event Service Standards

  • All buffets, food station and beverage offerings will be fully served by our staff
  • Sneeze guards will be required at all buffets and food stations
  • Passed hors d’oeuvres will continue to be offered and will be served to the guest in individual portions in their own vessel
  • Family style and self-serve buffet options will not be offered at this time
  • No plate, vessel, or glass will be reused or refilled
  • Guest tables will be set with only rolled flatware in a cloth napkin and a covered water goblet
  • Other items usually set on guest tables (salt and pepper shakers, sugars, and creamers) will be brought out upon request and served in individual portions by servers
  • All equipment will be sanitized at the conclusion of an event

Meetings, Tastings & Tours

  • Sales team members will wear face coverings during all meetings, tasting & venue tours
  • All visitors to our SHG buildings will have their temperature taken upon arrival
  • Guests will be served individually plated portions during all food tastings
  • All meetings, tastings & venue tours will practice safe social distancing
  • Hand sanitizer will be placed at our facility & venue entrances, as well as throughout the space as applicable
  • The event space/meeting space will be sanitized after each tour/meeting
