The entire Saz’s staff was great to work with. [They were] professional, flexible, and timely when responding to our questions and concerns. Our wedding reception was held at South Second and it was FANTASTIC! People are still commenting on how spectacular the venue was. The venue was so unique we decorated it minimally and it was still stunning the night of the wedding. The staff, food, and venue exceeded our expectations. I would recommend South Second and Saz’s to anyone looking for a unique and fun venue.
[It was] another STELLAR Saz’s spread at Beyond the Blues. I’ve personally received many compliments, and while I didn’t get a good chance to sample all our fun choices, the ones I did taste were fantastic! I’ve also received compliments on your wait staff present that night – you guys are A1 all around!! Thank you for your flexibility with the parking situation at [Turner Hall] as well! Please let everyone know how pleased we were – again – with your food and service!! It’s so wonderful to “not have to worry” about quality and quantity and know our donor base will be treated so well!
We are truly so very happy with the way everything turned out for our recent wedding at South Second. We initially booked this venue just on a rendering of what it would look like once it was complete. We took a leap of faith and trusted the pictures they created of this venue and it turned out even more amazing than we were hoping, I cried at the open house!! [Saz’s] wedding coordinator is so amazing and helped us every step of the way. We were amazed at how she had everything so organized throughout the process and had answers for all of our questions, she really knows weddings!! We love all the pictures we have of the space and all our guests were raving about not only the venue itself but the food too, it was soooo delicious, I only wish I could have eaten more, but then again I still needed to be in my dress all night!! I sooo wish we could do it all over again there ASAP, we had such a perfect wedding 🙂

We hired Saz’s Catering for our wedding in July, and boy it was the best decision I’ve ever made! The food was PHENOMENAL! After our tasting I knew I made the right choice, and knew everyone at our wedding would enjoy it… I was completely right. That night people couldn’t stop ranting and raving on how amazing the food was. In fact, I’m STILL getting people telling me how great the food was and where they can find more of it!! (I wish everyday for a plate of BBQ beans and coleslaw from them!) Since my Husband and I live in Colorado and were planning our Milwaukee wedding from afar, [Saz’s] was so great with helping us plan everything we needed. [They were] great with working around our schedule and made sure we were able to meet while I was in town. I couldn’t be more happy with our choice of catering, they far exceeded our expectations!!! I would hire them again for any other catering needs with no hesitation.
It couldn’t have gone better! [The Saz’s] staff was so nice and so helpful, and the food was fantastic. Everyone raved about it. Even though we had rain, the tent kept us dry and there was the perfect amount of room for 3 tables of 8 and the bar set up. The manager that night was just fantastic in communicating everything to me and even being flexible on a few of the timeframes we had talked about before the event. There were some people who were a little late so we didn’t want to start dinner until they got there, and [the team was] very good about agreeing to wait for them. Couldn’t say enough about how everything looked. Thanks again for everything; it was class all the way and many that were there will be using [Saz’s] in the future. They didn’t realize that Saz’s catered such gourmet food. Well Done!
I just wanted to drop a quick line to say thank you all for a job well done at our [Wisconsin State Fair] picnic this past Saturday. Our employees have been raving all day about how great the food was and how professional and nice your staff is. Everything went off without a hitch – even the last minute sour cream & chive fries! We’ll definitely consider doing this again with Saz’s!

Our wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful, and the catering services far surpassed our expectations! The food was incredible, and the room looked beautiful!! I cannot begin to tell you how much Saz’s completely exceeded my expectations. I’m STILL getting comments about how amazing the food was!!! Absolutely everyone had something to say about how good everything was! Thank you, thank you, thank you graciously for everything you and Saz’s were able to do.
I don’t know where to start…..everything was AMAZING! The food was perfectly prepared, presented and delicious! The Saz’s serving staff was OUTSTANDING!! They went above and beyond to help us re-adjust and improvise when the rainstorms moved in 15 minutes before the party! They were ALL so attentive to every detail of our event! Everyone who attended our party raved about the food, but Greg & I were most impressed with the staff and how they went out of their way to make our party great despite the rain! It was a pleasure to work with you and we are certain that we will be using Saz’s catering in the future for our special events and will highly recommend you folks to our friends for their events as well!
Everything went perfect on Saturday, outstanding job as always. The beer selection was a hit, imagine that!!!!!!!!! Food was awesome again as it always is. I swear all the nice people work at Saz’s. As hot as it was, I never saw or heard anyone complain from Saz’s; [They were] poised and professional at all times. I never have to worry when Saz’s is on site, which makes my job so much easier.
The food was delicious – our guests gave rave reviews of the braised short ribs. Service was above and beyond. From the chef to the servers, I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Saz’s!
