I honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience with Saz’s on Saturday! The food was amazing and our guests were still raving about it the next day. I was so so impressed with the quality of service by the waitstaff; everyone was extremely polite and attentive! Both Dave’s and my parents commented on how impressed they were with the entire staff as well, especially the ones who stayed towards the end and helped clean up. We all will definitely be recommending Saz’s to anyone who wants a great caterer for their event! Please pass along to those who worked our wedding, they really made our night go flawlessly and went over and above our expectations and we are so appreciative for that!

SO GOOD!!!! Saz’s was amazing from start to finish, [they were] so prompt with response and really didn’t miss a beat! We were looking for great food, at an affordable price that would wow our guests and we got it! Our meal was served family style and it just added a personal touch; the guests were interacting and helping themselves to as much or as little, without having to get out of their seats (vs a buffet). The apps were also a huge hit, wisconsin style is the way to go, cheese curds and sausage! You can’t go wrong with Saz’s!
This review is for the To-Go Thanksgiving offered by Saz’s Catering: O.M.G. It was GREAT! The whole experience, from initial inquiry ([Saz’s] was responsive and friendly), to payment (credit card over the phone to reserve and later pay for the meal), to pick-up (no real signage at the catering location, but we still found it just fine), to the food itself was AMAZING! All of the traditional offerings were done up *right*. No weird margarine or anything chemically tasting; just good, old-fashioned flavors. We’ve tried several to-go Thanksgiving meals around the area, and this one is by far the best quality and quantity of food for the best price (around $20/person for eight people). We’re definitely doing this deal again next year! Thanks to Saz’s for helping us focus on hanging out with our family!
Everything about our Oct. 22 wedding experience with South Second and Saz’s was five-stars, exceeding our expectations!
[Their] attentiveness is unmatched. [They were] always quick to respond to my many inquiries, happy to provide suggestions, and generally just excited to make our wedding reception everything we hoped it could be. For example, we really wanted soft pretzels served as a late night snack (specifically heart-shaped Milwaukee Pretzel Co. pretzels). [Saz’s] worked with them to make it happen, and they were an absolute hit with our guests! [Saz’s] helped us customize our package to make it just what we wanted while staying within our budget.South Second is a gem. I think every guest told me how cool the space was, and they’re so right. The vibe was spot-on with our personalities and so perfect for our reception. Everything was clean and set-up just as we asked. The large garage doors were open during cocktail hour and then closed when it got dark… it was always a very comfortable temperature. The space was perfect for our ~160 head count.
Saz’s catering was the cherry on top. We went with a buffet dinner and got the most comments on the Pepperjack Mac n’ Cheese (a huuuuge crowd favorite) as well as the table served fall harvest salad. But really, everything was good and there was SO much food. The bartenders and service staff were professional and prompt… it couldn’t have gone more smoothly. All in all, we HIGHLY recommend.
I wanted to first thank you for all of your help getting our event put together! As usual, you were a huge help, and I appreciate all of your time! Second, please thank the catering staff, your lead was so easy to work with, and did such an amazing job, as well as her assistant! Everyone raved about the food, so please thank your chef’s as well! Last but not least, by any stretch………………..your bartenders! So personable, and so on their game! Our event was a huge success, and it was all because of you, your staff and the chef’s! The Saz’s staff did an amazing job for our wedding. Our guests continue to rave about the food and each one has a different favorite. We decided on food stations for our wedding so that we could offer different options and have people mingle. The carving station was great with several options for accoutrements to top the meat, each one of them better than the next. The made-to-order risotto station was fun, interactive and absolutely delicious. Several of our guests made two trips to try different toppings. As our wedding was on a Friday, Saz’s even accommodated our request to have a traditional fish fry station. The fish and fries stayed hot and crispy because the staff continuously replenished the station. This was truly food theater with a unique flare. Thank you to Saz’s for being such an important part our wedding. Next time we need a caterer, you will be the only ones we call.
The entire Saz’s staff was great to work with. [They were] professional, flexible, and timely when responding to our questions and concerns. Our wedding reception was held at South Second and it was FANTASTIC! People are still commenting on how spectacular the venue was. The venue was so unique we decorated it minimally and it was still stunning the night of the wedding. The staff, food, and venue exceeded our expectations. I would recommend South Second and Saz’s to anyone looking for a unique and fun venue.
[It was] another STELLAR Saz’s spread at Beyond the Blues. I’ve personally received many compliments, and while I didn’t get a good chance to sample all our fun choices, the ones I did taste were fantastic! I’ve also received compliments on your wait staff present that night – you guys are A1 all around!! Thank you for your flexibility with the parking situation at [Turner Hall] as well! Please let everyone know how pleased we were – again – with your food and service!! It’s so wonderful to “not have to worry” about quality and quantity and know our donor base will be treated so well!
We are truly so very happy with the way everything turned out for our recent wedding at South Second. We initially booked this venue just on a rendering of what it would look like once it was complete. We took a leap of faith and trusted the pictures they created of this venue and it turned out even more amazing than we were hoping, I cried at the open house!! [Saz’s] wedding coordinator is so amazing and helped us every step of the way. We were amazed at how she had everything so organized throughout the process and had answers for all of our questions, she really knows weddings!! We love all the pictures we have of the space and all our guests were raving about not only the venue itself but the food too, it was soooo delicious, I only wish I could have eaten more, but then again I still needed to be in my dress all night!! I sooo wish we could do it all over again there ASAP, we had such a perfect wedding 🙂

We hired Saz’s Catering for our wedding in July, and boy it was the best decision I’ve ever made! The food was PHENOMENAL! After our tasting I knew I made the right choice, and knew everyone at our wedding would enjoy it… I was completely right. That night people couldn’t stop ranting and raving on how amazing the food was. In fact, I’m STILL getting people telling me how great the food was and where they can find more of it!! (I wish everyday for a plate of BBQ beans and coleslaw from them!) Since my Husband and I live in Colorado and were planning our Milwaukee wedding from afar, [Saz’s] was so great with helping us plan everything we needed. [They were] great with working around our schedule and made sure we were able to meet while I was in town. I couldn’t be more happy with our choice of catering, they far exceeded our expectations!!! I would hire them again for any other catering needs with no hesitation.
