After nearly one month, we cannot think of a single thing that could have gone better at our reception. Saz’s and all of the South Second staff all ensured that our wedding would not be forgotten. [Saz’s] went far and above [its] job description to make the evening perfect. The food was out of this world, and our guests could not get enough of it. Wisconsin Fish Fry just blew all other wedding food out of the water. The whole package was something that could not have been duplicated anywhere else. Please do yourself a favor, check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
Planning a wedding with South Second and [Saz’s] was a DREAM! Everything about the venue, food, bar service, and staff was perfect! The best part of working with [Saz’s] and South Second was that they definitely made you feel like they have done this a million times (way less stressful for you!), while also truly caring about your thoughts/ideas/opinions on how to make YOUR wedding day unique and special. [They were] extremely responsive to any questions I had, and [they] helped me nail down a perfect timeline for the reception. You not only get a big, beautiful space for your event, but also a coordinator to make sure everything goes smoothly. Also, the food was delicious! Saz’s can do no wrong! A ton of people told me it was the best wedding food they had ever had. I would recommend South Second for any event, especially weddings! The entire process will not only be stress-free, but also FUN! And your expectations will be exceeded! We could not be more happy with how our reception went at South Second. The set up of the space, the food, drinks, and the flow of the night was better than we could have ever dreamed. I am beyond thrilled that we chose Saz’s to cater our wedding! [They were] so easy to work with. [They] always responded super promptly to all of my emails and I knew we were in good hands. The staff the day of was super attentive and friendly. And the FOOD! the food was outstanding. We chose more of a summer BBQ theme and it was served family style. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. It was amazing. Thank you Saz’s for everything you did to contribute to our awesome day!
My husband and I could not have had a better experience with South Second! The food [by Saz’s Catering] was phenomenal and the staff was beyond accommodating and professional. We were receiving compliments all night! Our Event Manager was extremely personable and made sure every little detail was perfect! We voiced that we were paying for the wedding on our own, and [They were] extremely helpful with making sure we stayed within budget without sacrificing the food and drink we wanted. Also, I was sad when I thought I might miss eating our apps before the reception. When we pulled up to South Second [Saz’s] had apps and champagne waiting for us in the bridal suite while [they] took our cocktail orders to make sure we had cocktails during dinner (the bar closed during dinner). We thank everyone at Saz’s for making our wedding so perfect and memorable!
Saz’s was our first pick for catering at our wedding. There food was delicious- so delicious my family is STILL talking about it days after the wedding. I do not think I can say great things about South Second and their staff! We visited and chose South Second during their construction period and they exceeded all expectations that we could have had. Our entire wedding weekend ran so smooth because of South Second. The event manager was a gem to work with and always receptive to emails and answering my endless bride questions. She was available all evening to be sure that my groom and I were happy and her staff was constantly checking in. Our food was absolutely delicious and we’ve received endless compliments on how great it was “for wedding food.” The space is great and I have to give credit to the team in flipping the space while still hosting a successful cocktail hour. The night manager was so helpful at the end of the evening in loading the shuttles and helping to pack boxes, which was definitely not in his job description! Thank you to everyone at South Second & Saz’s for hosting the night of our lives!
Everything last Thursday was fantastic. The food was great and the kids (and chaperones) loved [South Second] and the set up. I was told by a veteran chaperone that this was the best Senior Dinner Dance that they had been to. I’ll keep in touch about next year’s event. Again, thanks for the terrific service at our event. It was first class from start to finish. [Saz’s] was wonderful. The person who came to set up was terrific. The food was generous, which is a great compliment when you are feeding a room full of teenagers, and not to mention, our administrators and community guests. Lots of great feedback on the food. [Saz’s] and staff are top notch. You have a winning organization all the way around. We will be back.
