Grilled Peaches recipe


3 medium peaches, moderately ripe (or any stone fruit – plums, nectarines, and apricots make excellent substitutes or partners in a grilled fruit salad!)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar, reserved
1 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tbsp cinnamon

Fresh berries for garnish
Fresh mint for garnish


  • Wash and cut peaches in half, then place flat side down in brown sugar, covering entire flesh surface area
  • Leave in brown sugar for about 20 minutes or when cut side begins to soften and become juicy
  • While peaches are absorbing sugar, combine vanilla yogurt, cinnamon, and reserved 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • Stir yogurt mixture thoroughly and set aside
  • Preheat grill to medium-high
  • Brush cut sides of peaches with oil to avoid sticking to grill grate
  • Place on a hot grill to mark, approximately 1-2 minutes
  • Remove from heat
  • If desired, drizzle with honey and garnish with berries and/or mint
  • Serve with yogurt dipping sauce
