The food was absolutely amazing – numerous people came up to us to tell us how good the appetizers and dinner were! Saz’s was super accommodating with helping us pull together menu options that allowed for our gluten-free and dairy-free friends and family enjoy the same quality dinner as everyone else. The staff was very professional and were able to work within the constraints of the venue (no onsite kitchen). All of the food was hot, which we were also excited about because we knew the lack of kitchen could make that more difficult. I will be recommending Saz’s going forward whenever one is looking for a caterer because of the awesome experience we had 🙂
I lead Evans Transportation Services’ internal events planning group and was so happy to hire Saz’s Catering for the Thanksgiving luncheon that we had for the whole team at HQ last week! People couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was and many even commented on the perfect presentation. Best moment was overhearing one employee walk into the luncheon room and say “Jeez, they treat us like kings and queens here.” Felt so good to know we provided that level of value to a deserving team for a price that made “the powers that be” happy. As a very busy marketing and comm director with little time to dedicate to internal event planning but a strong desire to treat our team to the best, Saz’s is always the perfect partner: I place our order, then Saz’s takes care of absolutely everything else without my having to worry about a thing – even meticulous clean up! We hosted our Thanksgiving luncheon in our training room and after the giant buffet was over and all 40+ team members had gotten at least one plate, Saz’s cleaned up so well that – afterward – it looked completely unused and ready for the next meeting. Seriously, these guys are the best. Can’t wait until next time!
Just wanted you to know how well the party went last night. [The Saz’s team] came early also and set up all the serving dishes and food in a very efficient manner. The food was awesome!!! Of course, the bourbon glazed short ribs were a major hit. Your company definitely plans for seconds and more. A+ grades to everyone, starting with your attention to our desires at the tasting, your polite approach to a customer and your great follow up after an email or call. Everything was great, my family loved it and the food was so easy to reheat. I was very happy with the quality and the amount of food we got. Will definitely order again!
I know it sounds so cliché to say, but our wedding day really was the best day ever! We had both our ceremony and reception at South Second in September. The transition of the room from ceremony to reception and the entire day itself was executed perfectly- (which is obviously every bride’s dream come true!). [Saz’s Wedding Specialist] is truly wonderful and I couldn’t recommend her and the staff at South Second enough. In the months leading up to our big day, [They were] an absolute pleasure to work with. [They are] incredibly organized, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional. [They] helped to ease our concerns and took some of the stress out of wedding planning- which every bride and groom knows is huge! [Their Wedding Specialist] is a rock star and she is one of the reasons why we are so thankful we chose South Second for our big day! As far as the food goes, Saz’s did not disappoint- no surprise there of course. We had breakfast for dinner and the food was awesome. All of our guests gave us so many compliments. It was perfect that we were able to have our hors d’oeuvres coordinate with our breakfast theme, and of course, they were delicious! We are so thankful that we decided on South Second for our wedding. The space is absolutely beautiful and unique. [Saz’s] and the rest of the staff at South Second were so professional and accommodating, we couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. Overall, I think it’s pretty obvious that we loved our experience at South Second and will remember our wonderful day for a lifetime! 🙂
Everyone enjoyed the food and quite a few employees told me it was the best breakfast we’ve had at our office. Everything was really good and we’d like to try other food.
On behalf of the Dolan and Wozniak families, and especially the Bride and Groom — Bridget and Matt Wozniak — we want to thank you and the South Second team for an extraordinary event this past Saturday! Without exception, all of our guests made a point to tell us how much they enjoyed the venue, the service, the food, and the vibe of South Second. And ‘enjoy’ is too small a description for how they raved and raved about South Second.
At the top of the list of raves and compliments was THE FOOD! We and all of our guests were very impressed and truly enjoyed the dinner. The cocktail hour and passed hors-d’œuvres were a hit and set the tone and mood for the evening. The dinner choices of filet, salmon and vegetarian were delightful. Of course, the service was impeccable, the bartenders attentive and accommodating, and the crew that helped us with our post-reception cleanup couldn’t have been more helpful.
You worked the hand-in-glove with the bride to make sure all of her wishes and wants were handled. The level of service you provided along the way reinforced the wise choice we made in reception venue.
Saz’s has given Milwaukee a venue that delivers on the Milwaukee experience–great food, great atmosphere, and great personal service. We encourage anyone planning any kind of gathering in Milwaukee to look at South Second–they will be glad they did.

Saz’s was a phenomenal choice for a caterer at our vow renewal! Planning was easy, communication was great and the food was outstanding!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
Cannot say enough about Saz’s and the amazing dinner they put on for our wedding! Our coordinator was amazing to say the least! She answered all of [our] emails so timely, and adjusted our invoices so quickly when we decided to make a change. The food was amazing, hot, great portions, and we got so many compliments from all of our guests. The service was discreet and elegant and on time- I didn’t even notice a delay between tables being served, as the amount of servers delegated was perfect for our size wedding. Great food and great service- all a bride can ask for from her caterer!
Saz’s did an incredible job with our company boat cruise – the fajitas tasted like they came straight from Mexico! The service was wonderful and we never felt like Saz’s couldn’t cater to our needs, even with a few last minute changes.
Thank you so incredibly much for all of your time and work in making Friday the most perfect party! It was honestly everything I ever wanted and I am very grateful for all your your insight, attention to detail, and organization. The night was seamless! Additionally, I’m pretty certain every single guest found us or a family member to tell us how amazing the food was. Our friends and family LOVED the appetizers, dinner, and late night food! Seriously, I was blown away! I mean how does anyone even make 200 steaks to such perfection?! Everyone was so kind and helpful and I could sing your praises forever but you have had a long, busy weekend and don’t need pages of my gushing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!
